About the Exhibit
This exhibition features photography by Lucie Kulhánková and Patrick Tyson, captured across Taiwan — from factory floors to misty mountain forests, from ancient temples to the neon-lit blur of Kaohsiung's MRT.
Organized into three arcs, the collection invites you to see Taiwan through the eyes of those who came here searching for home — and found it in unexpected places.
Lucie Kulhánková 韓露
From the Czech Republic. Captures landscapes, temples, and the soul of Taiwanese culture. Exploring what it means to become a local in a foreign land.
Patrick Tyson 唐柏漢
From Mississippi, USA. His "Lost in Transition" project captures the blur and beauty of daily commutes through Kaohsiung's MRT — over 16,000 photos distilled into 21 powerful images.
