H2TW, DMW, and OWWA to Establish a Joint Service Desk in DMW Kaohsiung Office
Home 2 Taiwan (H2TW) met with DMW and OWWA officials to set up new educational and welfare initiatives for OFWs and Filipino students, including a Joint Service Desk at the DMW Kaohsiung office.

On September 15, 2026, Home 2 Taiwan (H2TW) met with Philippine Labor Attaché Des Dicang and Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) Welfare Officer Zenaida Ramos at the Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) office in Kaohsiung City to roll out new educational and welfare programs for Filipino workers and students in Taiwan.
Plans are underway to establish a Joint Service Desk right at the DMW office to better support our community’s learning and wellness, making educational opportunities from UP Open University and health information services from Kaohsiung Medical University easily accessible.
Additionally, H2TW and OWWA agreed to co-host regular training programs and capacity-building workshops. These sessions will focus on artificial intelligence (AI), entrepreneurship, and essential career skills to empower OFWs and Filipino students. H2TW’s community network will complement OWWA and DMW’s reach in scheduling and implementing these programs.
