Home 2 Taiwan Shares Mission via Facebook Live
H2TW redefines the migrant labor experience and announces its first-ever collaboration program, the launch of UPOU’s Semiconductor Microcredential Courses, through MECO's Facebook Live.

In a Facebook Live hosted by the Manila Economic and Cultural Office (MECO) in Kaohsiung on 17 April 2026, the social governance movement Home 2 Taiwan (H2TW) unveiled its ambitious vision for Philippine nation-building. Featured guest speaker Ms. Neena Ebron, serving as H2TW Convener and VINTA Coordinator, joined host Ms. Maureen Betita to trace the movement’s history and its future as a catalyst for professional development.
Although H2TW is currently in its foundational stages and awaiting formal legal establishment in Taiwan, the movement remains steadfast in its mission to mobilize volunteers, partners, and donations to transition Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) into "Overseas Filipino Specialists" within its first year of operations.
This visionary approach is rooted in the "Home 2 Taiwan, Take Home Taiwan" slogan first coined by Dr. Eing-Ming Wu, President of Edu-Connect Southeast Asia Taiwan, which promotes a collaborative synergy known as Bayanihan and Taiwanihan Collaboration for Philippine Nation-building. This movement is championed by a distinguished group of conveners, including Chancellor Joane Serrano of UP Open University (UPOU), Dr. Yong-Chao Su of Kaohsiung Medical University, President Peter Lai of the Linhai Industrial Park Manufacturers Association, Mr. Rodolfo Emperado of the Bayanihan Lab Network, and Ms. Neena Ebron herself.
To kickstart this collaboration, H2TW is inviting Filipino students and workers to the upcoming launch of UPOU’s Semiconductor Microcredentials Courses on May 22, 2026, at Kaohsiung Medical University, with registration already open for those eager to advance their knowledge and skills.
